The Billie James is Not your Lover LP is an African American history hip hop LP. The lives of Billy Holiday and James Baldwin are the two historical figures which are the focus of this project. Racism, violence and sexuality are a few topics which are discussed in a movie-like format. This LP has been used at the University of Wisconsin-Madison during black history lectures.
